Set in the beautiful Tamar Valley, Honicombe Manor is within easy reach of historic Plymouth, the ancient market town of Tavistock and the glorious, wild open spaces of Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor as well as the beaches and coastline of north and south Cornwall and Devon.

Honicombe is a lovely site set on a hillside overlooking the Tamar Valley.  Great amenities and attractions are within easy reach and it is a great location from which to explore Devon and Cornwall.

The are local shops for your everyday needs and for when you need to restock the larder or wine-store.  There is a new Tesco's supermarket and smaller supermarkets in Callington.  Tavistock and Likeard have large Morrison supermarkets.

If you want to eat out there is a choice of pubs like the Rifle Volunteer in St. Ann's Chapel, the Cross house Inn or the Carpenters Arms at Metherell.  The St Mellion Country Club has a good brasserie. For a special meal out Callington has Langmans Restaurant and there is renowned Horn of Plenty Hotel on the way to Tavistock.
